OPI- Don't Talk Bach To Me and update

Hey everyone! Wow, I've been gone for a while. I'm 11 weeks pregnant so I haven't been painting my nails as much, the smell of polish remover makes me nauseous. I've been using nail polish strips all the time for almost two months. Since OPI released the Germany collection, I had to go to Ulta and get a few colors. Today I have a color that isn't similar to any polish I own. OPI- Don't Talk Bach to Me is a yellowish-green shimmer. (3 coats)

I'm using a new top coat too, so far so good. It really does dry fast.
I bought a Stila pallate and 2 polishes: Don't Talk Bach to Me and German-icure by OPI then I went back to get Every Month is Oktoberfest.
(She got a hold of my accessory box, lol)
Liz is going to be a big sister in March 2013 :)

Butter London- Slapper

Hello everyone! My husband bought me my first Butter London polish about a week ago. The formula was very smooth and it was opaque in two coats. I love the bottle too :) I think I have a dupe in my stash so I'm going to a comparison post soon. Right now I'm wearing some Sally Hansen nail stickers, so I'm going to wait to swatch them.

Until next post :)

Liz's Birthday and Fire Nails

Hello everyone. I did these fire nails for the June photo a day on instagram. I used some paint brushes to randomly draw on my nails, it's not the best manicure I've done but I still like it :)

Colors used:
OPI- In My Back Pocket
China Glaze- Phat Santa
China Glaze- Solar Power

Liz's birthday was on June 3rd but we cut the cake on the 2nd, since the bakery where we bought the cake doesn't open on Sundays, we picked it up on Saturday.

China Glaze- Cling On & Eyeshadow

Hello everyone! I went to Sally's on Wednesday and I saw that the CG magnetic polishes were on sale, so I got the green one. This is my first magnetic nail polish :)
I didn't use a base or top coat. I applied one coat then waited for it to dry (this polish dries quickly) then I applied another coat and held the magnet against the polish. I liked how it turned out, so I might go back to get some other colors if they still have them. The polish and the magnet were $3.29 each.

I used the arrow pattern.

The other day while blog stalking, I saw some pretty cool blue eye makeup . I wanted to replicate SilhouetteScreams's Djinn look but it's not as cool as hers.
Products used:
L.A. Colors eyeshadow palette in Supernatural
L'Oreal HiP eyeliner in Navy
NYX Provocateur mascara

OPI- Vampsterdam

Hello everyone. Today I have another color from the OPI Holland collection. I usually don't like polishes with a frost finish, but I had to get this one because of the name :)
I used 3 coats, I could have gotten away with 2 coats but I rushed and the polish dragged at my cuticles.

I found some cute spider earrings at Walmart so I wanted to post this picture :)
The pack came with 2 other pairs of earrings and it only cost 6 dollars.

OPI- Ski Teal We Drop

Hello everyone! Today I have a beautiful teal polish from OPI's 2010 Swiss collection. Ski Teal We Drop is such a pretty color, especially under direct sunlight. I painted my nails Wednesday night and right now there's some tip wear but it hasn't chipped badly. OPI polishes are my favorite :)
Last night I thought I'd lost this polish because I was absolutely sure that I left on my desk and I couldn't find it. I looked on my dresser, in Liz's toy box, everywhere but it wasn't there. It turns out I put it in my helmer after I painted my nails but I totally forgot lol.
I used 2 coats.

OPI- Thanks a Windmillion

Hello everyone! I found another color that I absolutely love :) I picked up Thanks a Windmillion, I have a Herring Problem and Vampsterdam from the OPI Holland collection a while ago. As soon as I applied Thanks a Windmillion, I fell in love with this color. I still need to swatch the two other colors though. After 2 coats, some nails still had VNL so I used 3 coats on those.

^ A few days later, I repainted my nails with Thanks a Windmillion again, I used Done out in Deco on my ring finger so I could wear both of my favorite colors together :)

OPI- Thanks a Windmillion & Done out in Deco
